About
The Lehigh Oceans Research Center at Lehigh University is a consortium of researchers studying the ocean system and the life within it. Our interdisciplinary research combines fieldwork, laboratory, and computational approaches. Current expertise groups include the Balmonte Lab of Microbial Ecology and Biogeochemistry, the Layden Lab of Cnidarian Neurobiology, the McDermott Lab of Marine and Subsurface Geochemistry, and the Herrera Lab of Deep-Sea Ecology and Evolution.
